Krútňava in Bratislava.
An evening that lives on in memory.

The National Theatre Košice looks back in its photo story at the guest performance of Krútňava at the Slovak National Theatre. Jozef Barinka’s photographs capture the production, the final curtain call and encounters after the performance.

Here, Suchoň’s music has real faces: performers on stage and people in the audience. Five selected photographs convey the atmosphere of the evening and its human side.

Svätopluk: behind the scenes

Maria Vencelova’s black-and-white photographs capture the preparations and people behind the scenes of Svätopluk. They offer a glimpse of the work that takes place before the music reaches its audience.
